Technical and methodological foundation
Kalken Labs develops territorial analyses using its own technical and methodological foundation. This includes designing geospatial workflows, integrating complex sources, automating processes, building proprietary tools, and producing reproducible analytical products.
Analytical infrastructure
Our technical foundation combines geographic information systems, geospatial databases, scripting, raster and vector processing, remote sensing, elevation analysis, and territorial modeling. We use it to work with spatially and technically complex information—including multispectral satellite imagery, digital elevation models, LiDAR, property cadastres, regulatory maps, and administrative records—where spatial accuracy, consistency across layers, and methodological control are critical.
Data integration and deliverables
We build complete processing pipelines, from data capture and integration to the production of indicators, technical maps, and 2D and 3D visualizations.
Scalable computing and artificial intelligence
We use advanced computational approaches to work with information at scale. Mass data-processing and optimization algorithms help us analyze, create, and update data within complex workflows while maintaining consistency and traceability. On that foundation, we apply AI and machine-learning techniques for classification, segmentation, inference, and prediction when the problem warrants them—without forcing their use when simpler methods can deliver equally robust results more efficiently.
