About Us
Kalken Labs emerged from the intersection of territorial understanding, project-management experience and the ability to build technical solutions that address real business challenges. From the outset, this combination has shaped a rigorous, practical approach grounded in the conditions in which decisions are actually made.
Kalken Labs is led by its founding partners, Agustín Ross and José Tomás Elton. Together, they form a multidisciplinary team with complementary capabilities in territorial development, data analysis and project structuring.
Agustín Ross, a civil construction professional with extensive real-estate experience, brings a strong technical perspective and deep knowledge of modern information-processing and analytical technologies, including artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning and programming in multiple languages.
José Tomás Elton, an industrial civil engineer, has experience in finance, renewable energy, real-estate development and project management, along with expertise in environmental conservation and carbon-credit markets.
Kalken is the Mapudungun name for the black-chested buzzard-eagle, the largest bird of prey in the Andes and one with exceptional eyesight. It observes the territory from above—with breadth, precision and close attention to signals in its surroundings. Its vision is both remarkably sharp and exceptionally wide.
